Our Story
Coverup Leather Store wasn’t born in a corporate boardroom or a mass-production factory. It was built out of a pure, unadulterated obsession with raw texture, traditional craftsmanship, and structural perfection.
We looked at the modern fashion landscape and saw a sea of synthetic materials, flimsy hardware, and jackets designed to be thrown away after a single season. We decided to build an alternative.
We set out with a simple blueprint: source the absolute finest full-grain hides, partner with master artisans who have spent decades perfecting their stitch, and create pieces that serve as a personal suit of armor. From the heavy silhouette of a classic military B-3 bomber to the sleek lines of an urban cafe racer, every piece that leaves our workshop carries our soul.

Unlike mass-market brands that rely on cheap corrected, synthetic, or bonded leathers, Coverup Leather Store strictly sources top-tier, full-grain leather and genuine premium shearling hides.
Every single hide undergoes a meticulous evaluation process to inspect its natural strength, density, and grain pattern consistency. We choose to embrace and celebrate the natural marks and subtle creases of the hide rather than concealing them with heavy chemical coatings—because these organic signatures are exactly what make your jacket completely authentic and one-of-one.
THE 24-POINT FINAL INSPECTION
Before any garment is cleared for packaging, our dedicated internal Quality Control team subjects it to an exhaustive, unforgiving 24-point checklist.
During this final assessment, we rigorously test the fluidity of the zipper teeth, the alignment of the shoulders, the depth of the pocket linings, and the overall finish of the leather under professional studio lighting. If even the slightest structural irregularity or stitch misalignment is detected, the jacket is pulled from the line immediately and sent back to the workshop floor. A piece only leaves our doors when our team is 100% satisfied that it represents flawless craftsmanship.

Once the finest hides are approved, they are passed into the hands of our master artisans who cut and stitch each piece with architectural precision and heavy attention to detail.
Heavy-Gauge Hardware: We exclusively deploy industry-grade, heavy-duty silver and brass zippers alongside solid metal buttons that are engineered to never rust, catch, or fail over decades of use.
Reinforced Stitching: Critical high-stress areas—such as the shoulder seams, pockets, and elbows—are heavily reinforced with double-nylon thread stitching to guarantee unmatched structural durability.
Premium Inner Linings: The interior of our garments is treated with the same reverence as the exterior. Whether it is a breathable, ultra-sleek satin or a heavy, luxurious genuine shearling, our linings are seamlessly integrated to provide optimal temperature regulation and frictionless comfort.
